The Visitations of the County of Somerset in the years 1531 and 1573, together with additional pedigrees chiefly from the Visitation of 1591 (ed. Frederic William Weaver; Harleian Society) — read at the surname FISH and its four spelling variants for House Fish. FINDING: no Fish of any spelling is recorded in the volume's own INDEX OF NAMES, read at the page image (printed p. 139, leaf 157): the alphabetical neighbourhood runs Filloll · Fishacre · Fisher · Fitchett, and the F section closes at FURNEUX with no Fy- entry at all. The third independent vector on the House Fish arms question, and the FIRST of the three that is page-verified at an index of names.
