Tulip slipped and leaved — four drawn candidates pulled from the Book of Traceable Heraldic Art (heraldicart.org) for the Théron charge (Rietstap 1884 Vol.2 p.901, SRC-2026-066: 'trois tulipes de gu., tigées et feuillées du même'). CHOSEN: 'Tulip Slipped and Leaved (4)', adapted from photographs of a sixteenth-century satin caftan of Sultan Murad III — the only candidate that holds its form at the plate's own solve. REFUSED with its reason: 'Tulip Slipped and Leaved (5)', adapted from the Historische Beschreibung der Kindtauf des Fräuleins Elisabeth zu Hessen, which has the better provenance but dissolves into illegible line-work at 22 of 100
